Yoga in the Workplace Can Reduce Back Pain and Sickness Absence

People who practice yoga know that there are many benefits from having a regular yoga practice.  One area that improves greatly is their sleep pattern.  As a yoga teacher, I often have people telling me that they are sleeping so much better even after doing one yoga class.  

As a business owner, I have practiced yoga for over 23 years and throughout my business career, yoga has helped me sleep better, maintained my suppleness and my thinking ability. For me, yoga has been essential in keeping my back healthy and the bad stress levels at bay.  There are lots of data that show yoga is good for business and research by Dr Ned Hartfiel has demonstrated how yoga can improve wellbeing and stress resilience in the workplace.
